Hi! everyone I hope you will be fine. Today I gonna talk about my city!

So my city name is Lahore. It is the 2nd biggest city(according to the population) of Pakistan with a population of 11.13 million people. The first is Karachi with a population of 14.91 million people.

Lahore is well-known due to its old memorial buildings like Shahi Qila, Shalimar Bagh, Lawa mandir, Badshahi Masjid, Maqbrae Jahangir and many more.

Lahore is also well known for its people, traditions, and food. Lahori people are very much fond of eating.

Badshahi Mosque:

Badshahi Masjid or Imperial Mosque is a Mughal era mosque. The mosque is located west of Lahore Fort along the outskirts of the walled city of Lahore and is widely considered to be one of Lahore's most iconic landmarks. The Badshahi Masjid was built by Emperor Muhi-ud-Din Mohammad commonly known by the sobriquet Aurangzeb was the sixth Mughal emperor in 1671, with the construction of the masjid lasting for two years until 1673.

It is the second-largest mosque in Pakistan.

Lahore Fort:-

The Lahore Fort or Shahi Qila or Royal Fort is a citadel(A citadel is the core fortified area of a town or city. It may be a castle, fortress, or fortified center.) this located at the northern end of walled city Lahore, and spreads over an area greater than 20 hectares.

Wazir Khan Mosque:

The Wazir Khan Mosque is the 17th-century mosque. The mosque was commissioned during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Construction of Wazir Khan Mosque began in 1634 C.E and was completed in 1641.

Famous Parks and Gardens:-

Shalimar Bagh:-

The Shalimar Gardens are a Mughal garden complex.

The gardens' design was influenced by the older Shalimar Gardens in Kashmir.

Construction began on 12 June 1641 and took 18 months to finish.

Jallo Park:-

Jallo Park or Jallo Wildlife Park established in 1978, is a public recreation(Recreation is an activity of leisure, leisure being discretionary time) and wildlife site.

In Jallo Park there are many different kinds of Animals & Birds. In Jallo Park There is also a Garden named Botanical Garden.
